Problems with periods
A normal period is around 5 days and a normal menstrual cycle lasts between 21 and 35 days.
Causes for abnormalities in the menstrual cycle include:
- Uterine polyp
- Adenomyosis
- Fibroids
- Malignancy and hyperplasia
- Coagulopathy
- Ovulatory dysfunction
- Endometrial and iatrogenic causes
